: : Hi, I have TMJ with a popping painful jaw that comes from clenching. I just got an NTI nightguard and it's working REALLY well-no more popping. I paid $460 for it. Has anyone else had to pay this much or did I get screwed on the price? Thanks, Mystic
: Hi Mystic...Love your "handle"! If you spent $460 for a treatment that is working really well, I would count yourself lucky! I have spent $6000 on braces(not covered) $30,000 on multiple surgeries( some covered)4 splints(not covered) and tons of massage, biofeedback, PT. My drug bill a month totals my friends mortgage. I could go on and on. The NTI has been VERY successful for many people who have failed in other splint therapy. Dr. Jim Boyd, the inventor of the NTI, is very active on TMJD.COM talking to patients and offering tips on the fitting and useage. You could ask him about the cost and any other questions about your NTI there. He is a great guy and very eager to help people! Good luck..Carole
My splint cost $400 so $460 doesn't sound too much out of line....
