Recently my dentist told me I had a slight case of TMJ. I never had any pain until I started wearing the nite guard and the pain is getting worse and I'm noticing some swelling in the morning. Also I am an aircrew member and I go through extreme atmospheric changes when I fly and I'm noticing the popping in my jaws gets worse with the pressure change. I'm concerned because this has all started almost overnight. Could the pressure changes accelerate this condition?
