I found this med to be effective by accident. I was prescribed this for pleurisy pain and happened to have my TMJ flare up at the same time and it worked better than any pain pill, prescription or not, that I've tried. It's Vicoprofen (sp?). It is a prescription pain med but also includes an anti-inflammatory. You get the best of both. Ask about it!!!
