Facial burning/numbness?

I have had TMJ for 15 years or so. Recently it has gotten worse with crunching and popping in my jaw. Last week started having burning/tingling/numb feeling in the right side of my face which is the side that is really bad with my TMJ. Has anyone else ever had this? It is only burning on my cheek and along my lower jaw, not my whole face. Doctor doesn't have a clue, what else is new? Just wondered if anyone else has ever had this problem. Thanks and take care!!!
