: I have been experencing ear fullness and a pulsating noise in both ears for several years now but lately has become much worse. COULD SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME. Hi Barbara...I am assuming that you have had a Doctor make sure that you don't have fluid in your middle ear. If the pulsation matches your heartbeat, you may have fluid trapped between the eardrum and the eustation tube. If you have allergies or colds, the tube can swell shut, holding the fluid in there. Pre-TMD I also had this problem and was diagnosed with food allergies that produced no other symptoms. If that is the case, a few weeks of decongestants like Sudafed can help. Fullness and ringing are commen TMD symptoms that can be helped by splint therapy or other TMD treatment. There are a lot of posts on this subject on TMJD.COM. If you search the archives, you will have plenty to read and maybe find some help. Good luck...Carole
