Symptoms of TB will not go away without appropriate and lengthy treatment. Symptoms such as nose blowing, sniffing, etc, usually indicate cold, rhinitis, or other upper respiratory infection. These can go away without treatment. However, such symptoms can also pinpoint a person who sniffs cocaine. The cocaine damages the nares and sinuses and there is constant irritation to the area causing an increase in sinus drainage. This does not go away. Some people have continued to use the drug to the point of needing their nose surgically rebuilt!
