I had to take the TB skin test, because im in a medical class for school. and for me able to go to clicicals i have to have a TB test and it has to come out negative. Well i got it done on a tuesday and on friday i got it read. Guess what? It came back positive. I was so mad i cant believe i got TB, how the hell did i get this? So now i have to go next thursday and get a chest x-ray and sputum culture or whatever. Now either wya im going to have to take drugs right? I believe i have to take Isoniazid for 6 months thats if i have non-active TB right? and if it s acrive then i have to take more drugs right? please someone answer my questions. Im only 17 yrs old and i dont know what to do. Thanks Steph
