I have been on differin for two months now, my skin is still breaking out, this is the worst I have ever seen my face for the two months. I finally stopped yesterday, and my face looks a lot better when I woke up tis morning. differin burned my face, I have a huge burn next to my eyebrow from the differin. all my breakouts during the differin left horrible red marks and have not yet healed. Because of my burns and horrible purple marks on my skin, I have missed two days of school ( I know this sounds bad, to miss school because of pimples, especially at my age 23, but if anyone could see how horrible my face looks, it hurts, has purple marks, and a huge burnt spot, you would not want to leave the house either).

Differin sucked for me. I was on it for 2.5 months and it really screwed me up. I broke out so bad, my face became so oily. I was totally embarrased going to school Even one of my friends couldn't take and hate to make a comment on it. My acne like went from moderate to sever in a way.

All in all, differin was bad med on me, I'm now on retin-a micro, hopefully that will help.

Wow the guy that you consider a friend isnt a friend if he decided your breakouts were a thing to pick fun at. What a nerve. Hey you guys on differin, dont you know that its supposed to bring everything up? IT IS NOT a regimine to clear your face up, it first has to make it worse. Yea, I have these stupid purple marks too. differin/antibiotics cant do their job until your skin underneath has all of the blemishes pushed up to the surface. Youre dealing with skin and natural proceses of the body. Nothing can get rid of acne forever without first making it worse. Marks are only left when pimples are broken, whether they are broken by washing your face, or by deliberate picking and squeezing.

I have been using Differin cream for about 2 weeks. I did break out a little for my first week, but it really seems to be clearing up. I think it is working for me.

Yeesh, according to Differin's website:
http://www.differin.com/products/swf_insertadapalenecream.shtml

Differin cream only reduces "lesions" by
30-34% after 12 weeks.. That sounds
pitifully low.. Anyone agree?

Differin users: Does this sound like an
accurate statistic?

lesions, as in huge scarring lumps? Well, anyone with that sever of acne should be on accutane, not differin. Also, differin is supposed to take at least 8 weeks to bring everything up, and then begin to start clearing it. 30% sounds awfully good

Oh..

I thought lesions meant acne eruptions,
in general, meaning blackheads, whiteheads,
rainbowheads, and the rest..

Silly me!!

Yeah I wouldn't think that Differin would
do anyone with cystic acne any good..

30% just seemed like not enough to me..

I have mild acne...nothing too major. But as I am very pale, everything shows up like crazy. The Differin and the Klaron seem to be doing ok....I would really like a reduction in oil though. Might try b5 again. No, I'm not on any other drugs. Just topicals.

Good luck!

Hey Sapphie are you serious? Its working this fast? Is Klaron an antibiotic? I was using erythromacin topical but I got immune pretty fast so I was just wondering. And does differin make your skin dry? My skin is really dry right now. I have an appointmet this friday. Should I try these two?
Thanx!
