OOPS...sorry bedhead, your post didn't show up before I wrote my last one. Which is strange, since you wrote it 2 days ago, and it didn't come up till I posted mine just now. Anyway....Thats great the scale is coming down for you!! You sound like you are doing just great! Were quite proud of you!! Late night eating is a killer for me too, well, not LATE night, but before bed eating is such a bad habit for me. I keep trying to get in the mode of NO eating 3 hours prior to bedtime, but I HONESTLY forget until its too late! I've been trying to do this for months, and so far I haven't stuck with it at all!! I think i will bring an alarm clock out to the living room, and set it for 7:00 each night, when it goes off, so does the eating for the rest of the night! I also need to practice what I preach, and drink my water!!! SO, since you are doing so good bedhead, I'm making this committment to YOU, that I will drink at least 64 oz of water tomorrow!! I'll come back and report (see, this is where the teamwork comes in at!!!)!!!! I was discouraged and disappointed at myself when I opened the "YOOHOO CHALLENGERS" thread, and the first post is mine, the first sentence is: "I'm up one pound, i'm at 143.5! " WELL GUESS WHAT???? Its over a month later, and I'm still at that same point!!! I've been lower since then, but bottom line, I'm back up to 143-144ish!!! I'm OBVIOUSLY not getting anywhere!! *sigh* Well.........as they say...if at first you don't succeed, try and try again!! in my case, try and try and try and try and try AGAIN!!!!!!! have a good night/day everyone.....

Hey! I feel ya! I have gained 6 lbs!! I started working out two weeks ago at a gym and have gone 5-6 times a week..so that's great..but my eating and water SUCKS! BEDHEAD..GO GIRL!! Aren't you pumped?? It's the best feeling to go DOWN on the scale and I'm super proud of you. I'm on with the 64 oz water.. NO, I'm going 72 oz!!!!!!!!! Ciao and kisses!

hellooooo everyone!!!! great to see everyone so supportive and happy. I would like to join this little challenge. I weigh......let me go jump on the scale...just a sec.....oh my gosh...not good....i weigh 132 on my scale (according to my husband's drs scale and the scale at my gym it's 7 pounds lighter which would mean i weight 139). But i have been going to the gym for about a month and a half; 3 times a week. i weight train and do my cardio workout. hopefully that is where the extra weight is coming from. i can definitely see a little change in my body, BUT my goal is to be 120 pound (or 113 on my scale). i'm 5'2 and i'm medium frame.....sound right? i also try to stay within 1200-1500 calories a day.

am i doing good so far? does anyone have anymore advice?

Hi everyone. I've been reading everybody's posts and I want to join. Please! I started taking xenadrine 3 days ago. I've been walking 3 miles a day for 3 whole days now : ) I'm 5'7 and weigh 205 right now. my short term goal is to lose 10lbs by Thanksgiving. Long term, I would like to be 150lbs (my prebaby weight) I've tried to lose weight before, but I've never been able to stick with it for long. I think if I can share the ups and downs of it with other people I can reach my goal weight. I've really enjoyed reading all of youe experiences. Oh, yeah, I've also been drinking 64oz of water, & have cut back on my eating. If anyone else is taking xenadrine, please let me know how it's going for you. How long did it take you before you started losing weight, how much weight, etc. Feel free to answer me in a post. Wish me luck!

Hating the fat, before I ever came to this message board I tried to lose weight....and the diet and exercise only lasted about 2 days! I could never stick with it. I came to this message board and I got the motivation to try to diet and exercise again, with the support of this group. And ya know what? I was on my diet for weeks, which is AWESOME for me! . I recently got out of the diet because of some family issues. But this little group helped me like no one else could. And I think you made the right decision about joining it. It really helps.

UGH! All right guys, what's is up with me gaining 2 lbs?? This is an outrage!! I'm doing everything right!! And yet I still have unhappiness with this working out mess. GRRR!

Anyways, yeah I'm up two pounds, at 132. I am sick though, so I did not work out today. Yesterday though I spent 2 hrs at the gym, did 3 miles between the treadmill and the elliptical machine, and managed 300 crunches. I swear I will get up to 500. I want defined abs, that is my goal!!!

Hey, you said that you work out, right? Well if that's true, then those 2 pounds are probably muscle....and muscle helps burn fat. So don't worry about it...you'll probably lose those 2 pounds in a few days or something.

Down another 1lb. I just keep telling myself I put it on this slow it's going to take time to take it off!!
So now that I'm close to being done it's about 1 lb a week if that!!!! But we had Thanksgiving Dinner on Sunday and I stuffed myself and weighed in on Tuesday and still lost a 1lb. Maybe it would have been more but yum mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole and stuffing are my favorites
Now I'll just have to keep moving because we had Thanksgiving dinner 2x's yesterday
