Has anyone tried this? It has 0.5% salicylic acid (compared to Clearasil moisturizer which has 2.0% salicylic acid). It's oil free, hypoallergenic and non-comdogenic. It also claims to even out skin tone
with a "total soy complex". This product feels pretty
good on-not too drying (yet anyway-it's only day one).

Hi,

I haven't tried that product but want to. I am almost finished the bottle of moisturizer I am currently using and when its done I want to try the Aveeno one. Nothing is wrong with the one I use currently (Marcelle Oil-free Multi-Defense Lotion), but if Aveeno does really reveal brighter skin, I'd love that!Let me know how it's going.

I did just buy the Aveen Clear Complexion Foaming Cleanser with Salicylic Acid. It's only 0.5% Salicylic acid so it might be okay for people who normally find products with 2% too irritating. This cleanser also claims to have "moisture-rich soy extracts" for clean and even-looking skin. I don't know about that, I guess time will tell. It cost me about $10 CANADIAN at Wal-mart.

So far so good. I've used it twice a day and it isn't too drying at all. I've been using Spectro Jel for a while but was beginning to find my face didnt' feel all that clean. My derm told me that Spectro Jel isn't for me (I have somewhat oily skin) and suggested Neutrogena Oil-free Acne-wash but I've used it before and found it to be too drying. She said I could alternate it with Spectro Jel and use it only at night but I figured I'd try this stuff when I saw it in the store. I had also read somewhere that Aveeno acne products are more geared towards adult skin. Not sure what this means, but I'm definitely an adult!

Take care everyone!

I use the cleanser, too, I love it. I haven't tried the moisturizer, I'm in love w/ the Serious Skin skin clearing moisturizer. But I might have to try the Aveeno once.

Hey Smartiegirl

I was just wondering if you were still using the Aveeno cleanser and how it was going for you??

Thanks!

Hey,

I use the foaming cleanser and love it however the moisturizer did not impress me, my skin was still flakey and dry and it never did even out my skin tone, maybe it just does not work on me. So, I am going to give it to my mom and see how she likes it. Olay Total Effects is what I use now and it evens my skin tone out and diminishes the red spots from past acne.
