I have been left with indentations on my face after a 6 month course of accutane. I have now been off accutane for 6 months and have these "indents" on my face that r still a bit red. I'm hoping they will smooth but I'm optomistic.

PLEASE does anyone have advice to heal my skin smooth, my derm won't give me nothin!!

You need to start taking a multivitamin/mineral supplement and most importantly take some fatty acids internally, accutane dries out the skin and when the skin is lacking moisture it scars easily and does not heal quickly. I would recommend evening primrose oil and lecithin (good source of phospholipids which holds moisture in the skin). Keep taking them and do not let up, your healing has been compromised and it will take time, perhaps a year or so to get back to normal. You may also apply these fatty acids externally. If you start to get overly oily add some high quality fish oil at about 1/2-1 tsp per day.
Watch you diet and get your sleep.

Almost forgot I have also read that very high doses of biotin can help normalize the dryness when combined with fatty acids.
Good luck!
