I'm going to the vitamin store in a couple of days because I need to find a good multivitamin to take. Does anyone have and brands that they can recommend? I know it's best to find one without iodine but i'm also concerned about getting one that my body will be able to absorb. I heard your body only takes in about 10% of the pills except for some that may be powder or liquid so that just makes things more complicated. Any help would be appreciated.

Also if you know any good vitamins/herbs in general that are good for the skin I'd be glad to hear about them.

hey brian- i'm totally not a vitamin expert in the least- so i'm sure more knowledgable people will be able to help you more but since no one else has posted yet, i'll give it a shot. currently i take a good multi-vitamin with no iodine- like you said, it is actually the Long's drugstore brand multi-vitamin called "One Daily"- hence it has 365 pills in the bottle....... i dont know where you live or if you even know what Long's drugstore is, but it was cheap because it is the generic store brand and it didn't have iodine, so decided to go for it. not to say i wouldn't spend more for a good viatmin, but why not go generic-if it has the "right" ingredients and saves u some money eh? anyways, the ingredients include:
vit. A- 5000 I.U.
vit. C- 60 mg
vit. D- 400 I.U
vit. E- 30 I.U.
vit. B1- 1.5 mg
vit. B2- 1.7 mg
niacin- 2o mg
vit. B6- 2 mg
folic acid- 400 mcg
vit. b12- 5 mgc
pantothenic acid- 10 mg

then, i also take some seperates that others advised or if i needed more per day of some.......
vit. b6- 200 mg
vit. c- 500 mg
zinc- 50 mg
apple cider vinegar- 600mg

lots of people suggest some vitamins called "nordic naturals detox" something or other........never tried them, but maybe worth looking into.

to anyone else- these are just the vitamins i take, not really sure what i'm doing, just did some research and picked some randomly really.......if you have any input to help not only brian but me too, it is really appreciated. thanks.
