i just bought this, can anyone whos used it just give me some input about it, im not about to just shove it on my face yet tho, ive been using differin for a long time so i'll probably just use a bit of it on a small part of my face or something.

Says on the box it helps blotchiness and help reduce the marks from past blemishes and help clear skin and help prevent future breakouts, looked at ingredients says its got salylic acid and glycolic which are AHA's yep?

so whos used this, has it works, what are your experiences with it basically

Oh and another thing i was meant to ask, it says to use it during the day, but i'd much drather use it at night? is that ok?

Any replies will be gratefully appreciated as usual! Thanks.

I got it yesterday and all! I dont actually like using moisturisers even though I'm on accutane because it makes my face look even more disgustingly red, but I guess I have no option with the dryness and all.

I've used the Neutrogena Multi-vit. treatment for a couple of years now and absolutely love it!
I use it every morning after I wash...I don't use a moisturizer either, the lotion makes my skin very soft and its not greasy at all. It has greatly reduced my old acne scars and red marks.
I've never used it at night, but I don't see why it wouldn't hurt.
My derm. always told me to use a salycilic product during the day (to keep poors clear of oil/dirt) and at night use a low dose of benzol per. all over your face. I use Neutrogena's spot treatment (2.5%) at night and in this combo it works great.
My face isn't dry either...this has worked to keep me clear. I have around 5 small breakouts...that's it!
I use Burt's Bees Lettuce Bar & Toner in the Morning and at night too.
Best of Luck!!!

lo people, thanks for the replies, i also bought a Neutrogena Deep clean wash thingy because i was just using plain soap before

Christi : You've used it for a couple of years? has it like totally faded out the red marks? or at least helped them, im happy you like it, gives me a bit of confidence in it, after using the same thing for a long time(differin and soap for me) its hard to switch because i've maintained moderate acne, but thats all my current regiem is doing i think :/ so this is why i'm trying something new

i'm using neutrogena multi vitamin too and i'm seeing good results, but ti takes a good 2 weeks. you can find neutrogena at walmart, kmart, riteaid, eckerds, and probably in any grocery store, but i gurantee that walmart is the cheapest place to purchase neutrogena products.

i use neutrogena oil free cleanser, and neutrogena vitamin in the morning and the cleanser and neutrogena skin clearing moisturizer at night. but before i was using those i was just using the neutorgena vitamin morning and night. it has been making my face look good. i recently took myself off of clindamycin an antibiotic for ance because all of a sudden it stopped working and i was on it for about 4-5 yrs. so for about 2 weeks i was just using the neutrogena vitamin and that helped. last week is when i started all those neutrogena regimen.

Hey, has this stuff helped you guys with pitted scars? I have some shallow boxcar scars and I would LOVE to diminish them without resorting to laser or whatnot.

Oh, and do you think this would be safe to use while on Accutane?

Regarding whether you should use this whilst on accutane, I would say absolutely not. I'm on accutane, tried using it, and because of how fragile accutane maikes your skin, it burnt like hell and stung for hours (and I didn't put much on at all). I would go so far as to say it's not for anyone who has really sensitive skin full stop, with or without accutane.

Is neutrogena multivitamin in cream or gel form? How and where should I apply it? Is it available here in the Philippines? I also have these ugly acne scars that I want to get rid of. Is it really effective?

Thanks Jonesy.

I actually tried a little today, and it stung just a little but not too bad. But then, I have only been on Accutane for a week. I think right now, I'll just use it as a spot treatment on my worst blemishes and scars (altho those are over most of my face,LOL), but then I'll quit using it until I'm off the Accutane!

Thanks

i read somewhere that putting your moisturizer in the fridge helps your face in the morning from puffiness and reddness. its still been working for me so i guess it doesnt effect it. try it one day it feels so good going on cold

ive posted about this product in conjunction with a bp at night, sometime last year and it got no replies. im just guessing people are beginning to see results from it.

ironic thing is, ive tried sal. acids before (think it was called acne statin) and had a bad time with it. circa last year, i decide to try the neutrogina multi-vit. treatment. i like it.
ive been using it DAILY for a little over a year. i wash with clean n clear antibacterial cleanser, apply the neutrogina in the morning (and afternoon when i get home and wash again). at night i use clean n clear persa gel bp cream.

ive had a few pimples throughout the year; thats impressive, just a few pimples IN A YEAR. as far as red marks, i guess it does fade them a little. im sure it has since its been a year but i still have them, they just arent quite as red.
just the other night, a friend i hadnt seen in 2 years told me your skin is "smooth as a babys butt".

Ah, at last someone mentioned Acne Statin. They don't even tell you what the ingredients are, or at least they didn't when I tried it. That stuff was a scam. I swear it was just plain lotion with no active ingredients for acne. I was young and hopeful and stuck with it for over a year until my face was l00% broken out and covered in blackheads--which to this day I am still trying to get rid of. (Retin-A's additions to those blackheads pretty much put the icing on that cake.) Those are the two worst things I've ever put on my skin: Acne Statin and Retin-A. At least Retin-A had active ingredients, Acne Statin was a rip off.

i was young and a sophmore in high school when acne statin was shown during informercials. i asked parents and they bought it for me. this was THE WORST product ever. i broke out even worse; i cant even think about it.
i still remember what that lady looked like. she was short and foreign with blondish/white hair. she reminded me zsa zsa gabor.
do you remember the girl they kept showing with cystic acne that was cured with acne statin? well sometime later i was watching some kind of hbo documentary about some family killing and they showed her as the sister (innocent, not involved with the murders). her skin STILL had cysts.
