For all you ladies out there, what are some tips on how to reduce or minimize the shine when having makeup on? Especially when it hits 10-12 hours after you had put it on. I notice with mine, that once I hit the 10th hour, I really start to get shiny and my makeup will darken (get orange).

I know this only happens cause Ihave oily skin. People who have normal or dry skin, seem to be able to wear their makeup for days.

Besides Accutane (which has greatly helped me with this problem), I've had a lot of luck with Origin's "Zero Oil." You apply the matte lotion to your face prior to makeup application. Helps to reduce oiliness and keeps your makeup looking fresh for hours. Hope it helps!

Is the Origin's Zero Oil used instead of a moisturizer? Does it have the same consistency as a moisturizer? Also, is it noncomedogenic? Just wondering.

I don't have the bottle here with me at work, so I can't answer the questions about the alcohol or whether it's noncomedogenic OFFICIALLY (sorry about that). I will say from personal experience, though, that it never caused me to break out or get dry after using it. It's not a moisturizer. It's a matte foundation (whitish liquid that dries upon application). It's about $10 for a bottle that lasts a long time (several months). I'll try to remember to bring the bottle with me tomorrow so that I can tell you exactly what's in it.
