Hi everyone just thought i would let you know that after taking B5 tablets at a dosage of 8x500mg daily for quite a while now with really good results apart from the odd side effect including extreme tiredness and a strange feeling in my stomach i have finnaly found a tablet in the uk containing 1000mg of slow release B5.
I am going to take 2 tablets daily thats 2 grammes as i feel now is the time to try and reduce my dosage and see what happens, hopefully i will lose the side effects and keep the results i have seen over the last 3 months or so.
I will let you guys know how it goes, keep your fingers crossed for me.

Its particulary important to substiture BIOTIN and TOURINE when on b5, there is much belive the side effects are caused by b5 causing these vitamin deficiencies. There is some belief that omega-3 fatty acids are also particulary beneficial when on b5.

Tiredness can be a symptom of something more serious.
I personally had insomnia on 5-9 grams, I wasn't taking biotin or tourine.

Hey scouselad,
I've been following your (and poreoilyme's) progress with B5 and I'm on it now - and I'm in the UK but I've been using the 500mg Holland & Barrett B5 tablets.

Just wondering... where did you find the 1000mg ones??

I thought you could post the name of the company - just not the site address?

I've looked and I can't see it hehe.

Just a general question...would switching B5 brands reduce the effect?

Dave
