Even though my little angel is not here yet the chart was wrong. It said I should be having a boy and the Dr. said my darling is a girl. The needle test was correct for me though!! ------------------ IP: Logged |

Unfortunately, there seems to be a few different versions of the Chinese Gender chart. I have seen at least three different ones, that gave different answers. IP: Logged |

The gender chart said a boy for me, and the needle did too. We'll find out May 12 if they are right. I used to have a gut feeling we were having a boy, now I kinda think it's a girl...so who knows>?! ------------------ IP: Logged |

I've also gotten two different results on the chart. The discrepancy was caused by my age at conception. For example, I turned 34 in April, but conceived in January so I would have considered myself 33 when I conceived. And that's what I put down when calculating it on my own. But some sites calculate it for you and they put me at 34 because I was in my 34th year. I know that some cultures calculate age this way (not sure how the Chinese look at it). Perhaps that's where some of the confusion and conflicting results stem from. Just a thought. The needle test said I was having a girl. I thought that test was really wild - especially since I got the same results for my husband (girl and then boy). It was moving around in circles really fast and picking up speed and I wasn't even moving my hand at all. Very weird! ------------------ IP: Logged |

Most Chinese charts said girl for us, only one or two said boy. The u/s says girl. So it was "mostly" right I guess. :} The needle test said boy too though...but that could have been my own wishes influencing the test... IP: Logged |

I think I've said this before, but the funny thing to me is that I conceived sometime right around my 22nd birthday, but I was never sure if it was the day before, of, or after... hee hee. If I was 21 when I conceived, it said boy (which it is) and if I was 22 it said girl. So I really have no idea. IP: Logged |
