ummm... which ever one gets you and your partner the most wet and the most aroused and perhaps the most (you know what) in your pants. Start with the on top grinding and go from there. Remember which ever positions offers best genital friction.

The term I've heard is "Dry Humping", and it's the same thing skankybimbo2 was talking about.

I've always heard "dry sex" or "dry humping" in reference to going through the thrusting/grinding motions through your clothes. No direct contact. (Just did a quick on-line search, so far every site has confirmed that definition.)
