Is it true that if you have sex within three days after your period, your chances of getting pregnant are less?
(Please don't preach about how this isn't a good form of birth control - I know. I'm not even sexually active yet, this is purely out of wonder.)

The chances are reduced but there is still a chance so make sure ot use proper protection. There are some women who are actually more fertile right after their periods due to shorter cycles.

there's always the chance to get pregnant...even while on your period once...i was upset once...a friend of mine was misinformed and had unprotected sex right after her period cause her MOM said she couldn't get pregnant...i hated to do this, but i told my friend the truth...her and i prayed every day until she could take a pregnancy test...she was only 16 when this happened, btw....

In technicality, in a woman with perfect, regular cycles, yes.

Let me add that I'm fairly certain that almost nobody has such perfect, regular cycles, without outside hormonal help.
