I know that there can be sperm in precum but does anyone actually know what the chances are of getting pregnant from precum. Of course I understand there is always a chance of getting pregnant, but I want to know exactly how much sperm is in precum.

There is no way of knowing exactly how much sperm is present in pre-ejaculatory fluid. It varies from man to man and is dependant on how aroused the man is, how long since he last ejaculated and whether any sperm is still present in his urethra.

Since all it takes is one sperm that manages to get through to fertilize an egg you need to assume that there is enough sperm in pre-ejaculate to necessitate using a condom if there will be penile-vaginal contact.

There's no way to know exactly how much sperm is in precum. There could be none, or there could be a million or so. Precum definitely doesn't contain nearly as much sperm as regular semen, which normally has about 200-300 million sperm in a full ejaculation. But the point is, it can and does contain sperm, and all it takes is one. I'm sure there are millions of people roaming this earth that are the result of sperm in precum that made their way into the vagina. Wow, I just realized that's a freaky thought - so, are you a precum baby?

Sorry, but precum doesn't contain sperm, unless maybe you have had a recent ejaculation.

I totally disagree with Magnetic, because I got pregnant from precum...
Dont let anyone tell you otherwise, there are many women on the pregnancy board even, that have gotten pregnant from precum. YOu can read about several if ya go on over and check it out.

OK, Precum is produced by the Cowpers gland which is located after the prostate gland. Precum, by itself DOES NOT have semen in it. HOWEVER, like others have said, previous ejaculations, leakage of semen past the prostate etc.. WILL mix with the precum, leak out into the vagina and can cause pregnancy. So, precum is NOT a source of semen but can carry any semen that makes it past the prostate.
