Is there any way that I can make my hair appear thinner? It gets real thick quickly and looks bad. Does anyone have any suggestions. (I'm a male btw)

you can donate it to me, I am a 30 year old female and started losing my hair due to a throid condition. quite embarrassing, but I am only kidding. You just have to get the hair dresser to thin it out, thats all i can think of.

My sister used to have really thick hair, but it has really thinned out since she started layering it. I would definitely say to go to the salon, they might also be able to recommend some kind of condtioner that might work. good luck!

If you grow it out a bit you can do the hot oil treatment look by parting it on the side and using brillcream or dippity do stuff or Look into hair relaxers - its like a straight permanent and it needs to be done by a proffesional- or else your hair will melt off.

I have thick hair, too, and have had it thinned at salons. These thinning shears they use have a tendency to cause split ends. Now, instead, I use a Paris-made conditioner called "Kerastase." It's expensive ($32) but very well worth it. Makes my hair feel much silkier and thinner. Good luck.
