Hey, i have these bumps alll over my skin, it's not dry skin....it's like the hair follicle or sumthing. It's red bumpy, gross lol..i have no idea what it's called! if you could tell me what it is id appreciate it! thanks! ~lilhardy974~ ------------------ IP: Logged |

I have the same problem!!! I have them on my legs and upper arms...I can't explain how long I've had them for...I dont know what they are...what I do know is that even when I shave, my legs are NEVER smooth because of them...ANY advice would help...thanks-Lauren IP: Logged |

this is most likely keratosis pilaris. i have it but its not that bad because its starting to get nice out and the sun helps. also tanning beds help, there really is no cure for this u just should moisturize with a light moisturizer because a heavy one could make them worse. for the red bumps u could use a self tanner becauseit makes them less visible. i went to the derm a long time ago and she gave me amlactin lotion but it didnt really help. Ingrown hairs, even though you can't see em. Use a thick moisturizer (but NOT after you shower- it will clog your pores) and a body scrub with the little scrubbies in it. This way it will keep your skin soft enough to exand if it is growing over a hair and the scrubbies will help "move" that skin enough so the growth is disruppted. Good luck, let me know how you do.
