I have had this patch of thin hair on the top of my head for about 2 years. I am really self concious about it. Im already overweight and my husband teases me about the hairloss. Well we recently got season passes to a theme park. And the first day there I didnt think about it and that place on the top of my head fried. We went back 4 days later and I used sunblock on it. IT STILL FRIED. Does anyone recommend any hats that are in style or anything to do with this. I have 2 little boys that I dont want to embarrass but I've got to do something.

Hey - Not sure what your condition is and I really think you need to see a dermatologist for help with that but if you look at the post I put responding to Biotin --there are a lot of vitamin options that may help. All the best, it sounds very upsetting.

thanks.
I forgot to put this in the previous post. I lost the hair due to LUPRON shots. GYN has tried several things and nothing regrows there.

If youre not opposed to going on birth control, I have heard that Yasmin is great for restoring thinning hair.

Hi,
So sorry you are going through this. I too have thinning hair as a result of Lupron use. I was on it at twice the dose for 2 ½ years. You can imagine how much fell out!!!
Anyway, I am still waiting for it to grow back, but don’t know that it will. It devastated me because my hair was the one body part I loved the most. Some women like their boobs, butt, or legs....for me ...it was my hair!!! That was the one thing I got complimented the most on, even by total strangers. Like I said, it devastates me to look in the mirror!!! I hope with all of my heart that anyone who has thinning hair as a result of that awful medicine that it comes back!!! I don’t know of any treatment to make it come back, I just sit and wait and hope!!! Good luck and I am so sorry you had to go through this!!! I actually asked my doctor if that would be a side effect and he straight out lied to me and said NO. Once my hair started to fall out from Lupron..He said...Welcome to Menopause!!!! A**hole
