~FIRST EXPERIENCE~
my first experience was roughly 6 months ago. it was my most weird experience. what happened is that night i couldn't get any sleep, so my dad offered me one of his perscription sleeping pills. before i knew it i was asleep. around 2 AM. then, at some point during the night, i don't think it was light out yet, i started to wake up, however a great force accompanied by a loud buzzing sound in my ears and throughout my whole body seemed to hold me back from coming into full consciousness. it seemed as though when i would "give up" and start to drift more into unconsciousness it would dye down, but what was happening is the harder i "tried" (i wasn't really trying, my body was doing it by itself it seemed) the greater the force and buzzing would get. anyways this went on for awhile, drifting between consciousness, going back and forth, never fully conscious or fully unconcious, with the buzz and the force, very freaky. and a note of the force/buzzing, in this episode it was more concentrated on my head, i think. also, as far as visuals, nothing really, it was like my eyes were closed because i was half asleep. anyways, after that part was over with, i'm pretty sure i went back to sleep eventually. then i "awoke" again, this time sitting in my chair in front of my computer. it felt so real, that i was sitting there, that only until i woke up the next morning did i realize that i must have been in my bed the whole time. anyways, i was sitting there in front of my chair, in front of my speakers. music was playing... since i only listen to electronic/techno music, all it really was was just a beat i "heard", a boom boom boom boom... okay this is the weirdest part. in order to describe this i have to describe something else that is easier to understand. you know how when you are sitting in class and you start to drift off to sleep your head slowly sinks down (while sitting upward) but when it gets too far, you suddenly jerk up? okay this is what was happening to me in this weird dream/sleep paralysis state. except add a couple things: i had no control over my body, it was moving much slower, as i started to drift i would fall over- the music beat would slow down considerable more as i fell foward more and more- then i would jerk up and the music would suddenly speed up, this went back and forth about 5 times. also with the music- was the buzzing feeling and the great force upon my upper body and head- as the music would slow and i'd start to fall the buzzing feeling/sound and force would lessen, then when i would finally jerk up it was like a huge electrical bolt throughout my body and buzz, and then it would start over again with me falling. again, i eventually fell back asleep. one interesting thing, during this event, i think i was somewhat aware of what was going on, i clearly remembering thinking "wow.. this is what acid must feel like.." (i had been reading about lsd and stuff that night) .. so i was thinking to myself while it was going on. but the visual of me sitting there in my computer wasn't clear, it was dark and not detailed. but keep in mind, this all happened while i was lying in bed even though it felt very much and it looked like i was sitting in front of my computer.

ANYWAYS~ i woke up the next morning like whoah.. remembering everything. i thought it was cool and interesting. i just assumed it was the sleeping pill that did it. but i really didn't see how it would do that.

~SECOND EXPERIENCE~
the second experience was roughly 3 months ago. there isn't much to this one. i woke up in the morning in full buzz/force mode. all over my body, i couldn't move, i was almost completely conscious, and i could hear the buzz/humming sound in my ears. the force was all over me, this strong electrical tingling keeping me from moving. i remember trying to move, but not being able to, it was SOMEWHAT frightning, but not too frightening because i knew it had happened to me before. this time i was laying on my back facing up, and this time i heard voices in my head, i wasn't controlling them at all. this is the first time this has ever happened to me. i remember as i was hearing the voices (they were talking about me, it was like a news reporter) i remember thinking, "hey this is kinda weird, they are talking about me, i'm actually hearing voices i'm not making them up". as soon as i finished that though the voices "knew" i knew they were there, and they decided to stop. eventually i went peacefully back to sleep.

~THIRD EXPERIENCE~
this experience was only 3 days ago. i took a daytime nap. after awhile i starting to wake up, then started to go back to sleep but when i would start to close my eyes, i would hear the buzzing and feel the great force, but this time it was focused completely on my head. also the buzzing sound and the force (always together) were in waves in VERY GREAT force on the sides of my head.. it was like "vrrooooooooom.... vrrooooooooooom.... vrroooooooooom", and then i'd be like "no my head is goiing to explode" or something, and i'd try to wake up more fully. and when i did it would go away but the second my eyes started to get more than half closed it would start up again, and it was VERY HARD, harder than ever before, the force was very great and the buzzing was VERY loud and on either side of my head, it was like it was sucking me in, and it was so difficult to fight. but it scared me so i tried to overcome it. i went back and forth like this, until i reached a "plateau" of sorts, where i knew there was the great buzzing sound and force upon my head, just waiting for me when i start to fall asleep, yet i wasn't completely awake. i remember staring at my chair close to my bed, it looked very scary to me, and odd. and remember feeling the tingling throughtout my body while i was staring, and again trying to move but not being able too. it hurt my head to try and control my body, and it would contribute to me falling asleep more and more. eventually i fell asleep, or maybe not. i'm not sure entirely if what i experience after that was infact a dream, or something else. because i remember looking at the chair, and the next thing after that i remember swinging on a hammock with the human form of the chair, talking with him- about how i was part of him (which doesn't make any sense, but of course while it was happening i thought it made PERFECT SENSE) ... anyways the reason i don't think this was a dream is because it didn't feel like it, it felt more real and physical, i also remember actually dreaming about that hammock thing later. or maybe it was dream inside a dream i dunno it was weird. but during the dream there was no buzzing or electrical tingly force (sorry i have no other way to describe it). i woke up later thinking, okay now i must find out what this is.

that was very long. sorry, but if you actually read all that can you please respond? i know maybe it doesn't sound like much because of so much uneeded detail (? haha), but from some stories, symtomes i think i have this "sleep paralysis" . however, i have not yet really felt another being in my presense while this is going on, or anything on top of my chest feeling like i can't breathe. also my experiences haven't been very frightening. i mean it's kinda scary to be conscious and in control of you mind, but not be in control of your body. but for the most part they have been interesting. what i fear is that they will become frightening, and i will have these "old hag" type experiences, but i don't think so.. i really dont know. anyways PLEASE HELP.

I've had very similar experiences also. But get this, I can do it with my eyes open. I have been exploring this phenonmenon very frequently and have come to many of my own conclusions. I can only do it ususally during mid day naps, and I try to go through as many trials as possible so I can generate more conclusions.

I am usually fully aware what is going on the whole time it happens. As I drift deeper into subconsciousness (with my eyes closed) I begin to feel the tremendous buzzing you are talking about. I not only feel it in my head but also my teeth like an electrical current is flowing through them. I can usually control my dreams at this point if I want. I hear voices, music, and see morphing figures all the time. The very weird part is, since I know I am in my dream, I decide to try and open my eyes. At first I didn't know if I was really opening my eyes or just thought I was, but the more and more I did this I knew my eyes were really open. When this happens, I am half in my dream and out, so figures in front of me change and I begin to halucenate. I can't feel my body, but when I try to move my hand, It really feels like I am, but I know I'm not cause I can see that my hand is not moving ... sometimes I even see trails. I can wake myself up whenever I want, but it does take a tremendous effort.

I get scared a lot of times when i do this, because I don't know if this is a path to astral projection. I am afraid that I might leave my body and not be able to get back in. Alot of times, when my eyes are closed, a tremendous commet of white light rushes at me and I am totally engulfed in the most bizaar feeling. What the hell is this?? Is this what mediums see before they allow a presense to enter their body?? Do I have a special gift?? I am trying to do this as often as I can to try and generate conclusions. I am really starting to believe that this is a pathway to something far greater than physical earth. Whatever we have ever come in contact with in the physical world is up in our heads, and I have proved this by remembering hearing words in foreign languages, music tunes, and seeing faces all while doing this.

The buzzing and electric feeling is rather scary though . . . it feels so powerful like my head is going to pop. But it is just the feeling of becoming numb, I am just aware of it while it is going on. Can anyone draw anymore insights on this??
