I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in Nov. 02. I recently noticed that my eyelashes are falling out and they are becoming very thin. Has anyone else had this to happen? My other physical symptoms are improving, for example:
My eyebrows are growing back on the outer edges
I have new hair growth on my scalp
My skin is not as dry

I was just wondering if anyone else has had this happen and also, do eyelashes grow back and if they do, does it take a long time.

Hi There. . .

I too would lose my eyelashes. I thought it was due to stress but after being put on thyroid meds they grew back. I also lose them when the endo changes my meds. They do grow back, be patient.
