Ok I have no physical symptoms and I feel fine but my urine smells like an old wet stale baby diaper. It smells very old and nasty. It smells like that all the time lately. What's the deal?? thanks IP: Logged |

Are you taking any medication? I ask that because some meds can make your urine smell a bit bad. The only thing that I can think of is a urine infection. However, if that was the case, you would probably be experiencing some pain when urinating. I think that you should go see your primary care doctor as soon as you can so that they can take a sample of your urine and examine it. That's the only way to find out. I hope it gets back to normal soon. IP: Logged |

You could have some kind of urinary infection. Also sometimes people with diabetes and other infections cause foul smelling urine. You definitely need to have a doc do a urine culture to find out what's going on!! IP: Logged |

Are you drinking plenty of fluids? I don't know where you live, but its hot everywhere now - even here in Maine - and you need to increase the fluids in this weather. If you are dehydrated even a bit, it can change your urine. Avoid caffeine, alcohol, etc - stick to water or gatorade (if you can drink that stuff) and natural fruit juices. Good luck. IP: Logged |

Certain foods or even certain drinks can make your urine smell. Try to figure out if you started to drink or eat something different lately. IP: Logged |

Yep any unusual odor in the urine should get checked by the doc. See the doc and get checked out and as already mentioned be sure to increase the amount of water you are drinking to help keep your urine diluted and prevent bacteria buildup. IP: Logged |
