I just finished coloring my hair and now I have black color all over the back and sides of my neck. I tried wiping it away with soapy water but that didn't work. What can I do?

What kind of dyewas it? I only ask because i remember when I was younger I dyed my hair with some stuff I got from a store in the mall, it got on my skin and didnt come out for weeks. If it is like the kind you get a store/pharmacy, nice and easy (stuff like that) when i got that stuff on me it usually came off when I took a shower.
let me know

As soon as you finish putting the dye in rub the areas of skin that you have dye on with the dye itself to moisten then wipe off with damp cloth while still wet. Has always worked for me

You need to do it as soon as possible though, particularly with dark dye.

Hope it works for you.

NEXT time you dye your hair apply a thin coat of vaseline round your hair line and remove any splashes with a soapy flannel before it stains

There is a soap called Lava that you get either on the detergent isle or with the hardware stuff. It's primarily a "workman's" soap. It has a lava byproduct in it that will take permanent marker off your skin. It's in a red bottle. That stuff has saved my butt so many times...

The BEST remedy for this is either (as mentioned above) once you get ready to rinse, take a towel, and massage some of the moist color from your hairline and rub gently where the color is on your skin and rinse IMMEDIATELY. Also a great thing to try , is , in my shop, in the designated smoking area, my ladies flick there ashes into one container, I empty the ashes as well into this container, it is then used for rubbing into the colored skin stained by the color, and rinse,, WORKS WONDERS.

These I've both tried, and they both work. Either Johnson's baby wipes will take it off, or, if you're a smoker (I'm not, but wanted to try it and see if it worked), wet ciggie ash works wonders too.

One thing you can do is make sure it's really on your skin and you haven't dyed those really fine hairs on your face and neck. I had that problem when I went to a darker shade and I ended up having to wax the sides of my face to remove them.
