So far I havn't found a great nail polish that lasts more than longest less than a day without getting chipped. what i was lookin for and askin ppl at the farmacies for was something fast drying , long lasting and chip proof. they sujested wet shine by mabelline it is nice but i think to make it chip proof and for ne nail polish u gotta put one coat every day another one that i love is N.Y.C. its cheaper but not as think and lasts longer.

When applying nail polish you need to make sure you use a base coat, then two coats of color (allow to dry between coats) then use a top coat. I hope this helps.

Well, I saw a commercial for 'Nailfinity' I think that's what it was and it's by Max Factor...you know how they have 'facefinity' and 'lipfinity'...well I was planning on giving that a whirl. If anyone has used it I would love to know how it worked out for them!

Sally Hansen is the best so far. They also have a top coat that you put on while the color is still wet and it seals it and helps it dry fast. I think it is called Ultimate Shield but I'm not sure. I've had nails that last for more than a week with that. Good luck!

You really aren't supposed to wear nailpolish for more than 24 hours at a time. It can be damaging to your nails, and can cause infection or discoloration. If however you would rather wear it longer without it chipping, definitely apply a topcoat and wear gloves when doing housework, dishes, etc. Good luck - and post it if you find something good! Thanks!!

There is finally a nail polish that won't chip. I really didn't believe it until I tried it. It's the Revlon Colorstay "Always On". It lasted a full 8 days on me without chipping. I swear!! It kind of grows out lilke acrylic nails. It comes in a 2-pack box with polish and topcoat. Be sure and follow the directions and don't use a base coat. This one is really different. You will all thank me for the rest of your lives.

There are alot of good polishes out there....even wal-mart has some good ones....just make sure you apply a good B/C and T/C also make sure your nail plate is dry and free of any oils....some people have natural oily nail beds so there polish seems to not last as long. I think someone else said this already but make sure your nails are dry and oil free, then apply B/C and let it dry, then 1st coat of color, let it dry, then 2nd coat of color, let it dry.....then T/C let it dry....and like I said make sure there is no oil on your natural nail before you apply color.....my favorite brand of polish is Creative or OPI....that is all I use on my clients....and they love it.....like I said there are alot of great kinds out there.....doens't matter how much you spend...it is the way you apply it, is where some people have problems.....hope that helps....

Anything from Wet 'n Wild works great for me. It seems to last longer than anything else I've tried, even though it's quite cheap!
