I have severely dry flaky skin. What seems to help me is the Nivea cream in a jar. It is pretty thick and goes on well. I am not real crazy on the fragrance but the ones that smell good don't moisturize as well. I just go over the cream with a light fragrance lotion. IP: Logged |

Camellia oil would be perfect for your dry skin. It sinks right into your skin, softens it and keeps it moisturized for a long time. I know of many people who found many moisturizers/lotions inadequate for their dry skin, but have great success with camellia oil. IP: Logged |

Someone told me to get pure lanolin oil at a health food store. Worth a try. IP: Logged |

EB5 is very good. It's expensive though, but well worth the money. IP: Logged |

I use Keri for extra dry skin. It's pretty expensive, but works great. IP: Logged |

Mineral Oil is good for dry skin, i use to use baby oil then went to my doctors because i was itching so bad and didnt understand why, she told me it was the baby oil it has something in it that dries your skin out after long use, mineral oil is used as a laxative normally , thicker than baby oil. What i do is after i wash my hair , shave legs ect the last thing i do before i get out is put the mineral oil all over me sometimes give just a quick rinse sometimes not. Then when u dry off dont rub just blot dry. Its also good in yr bath. And NO scent. ------------------ IP: Logged |

I used to try a million products too, plus I have very sensitive skin and I am allergic to fragrances. I finally am using glysomed and I swear by it. It made my excema go away as well. I use it every night in the winter all over my body, in the summer it seems to work better if I use it every other day. IP: Logged |

Try the Nivea cream in the blue jar. It is very thick but works wonders for very dry skin. IP: Logged |

I use to use Collegen E (I think thats what its called) and I can only find it at Sams club. Worked really well it has collegen and vitamin E, however it was somewhat greasy. Then I started accutane so it started to develop dry patches on my hands that wouldn't go away with that lotion. Then I tried Lubriderm Advanced Therapy (the pink bottle not blue) and it made my dry patches disapear in 2 days. I have been using it ever since and my skin is so silky smooth. IP: Logged |
