Hi i wondered if anyone could answer this question for me,i wanted to know if my bowel movements are normal or not, some days i can have up to 2 or 3 a day some days i can have 1 and some days i can go up to 2 days with no bowel movements, ive never had any trouble in that region, never had constipation but i would say my stomach can be very sensitive to dairy products. The thing is my stools are never "solid" sorry for sounding crude, they are not watery though like dioreah and i dont have pain, its just i was having a conversation with someone about this (yes i know sick) but anyway they reckoned dioreaha is anything thats not solid, well i have a healthy well balanced diet,i eat a hell of alot of fruit and veg,but the thing is my stools are never really "Solid" but i wouldnt say its dioreaha but i just want to know is this normal? Also i have noticed that in the morning, literally after i have eaten my breakfast 30-1hr after i need to use the bathroom,is this normal? Sorry to bable on.any replys would be appreciated.

If you are sensitive to dairy you probably have lactose intolerence. Try some lactaid at meals to see if this helps with your stools as well as you tolerating dairy. You may also want to add acidophillus capsules to your daily routine to help you intestinal flora. If you have no other symptoms besides the loose consistency of your stools you should also add metamucil to your daily routine to help bulk up your stools. The number of stools per day is not always as important as the consistency. Since yours are loose you really do need to check into this and get them bulked up a bit.
