General question, I had a tumour removed on my thyroid (a partial thyroidectomy was performed), upon final pathology they discovered a small invason of Hurthle Cell Carcinoma. I will be going back to have a full thyroidectomy. My question is this, if the lump has been removed does this mean I had cancer, or does this mean I have cancer? Do you see what I mean, I am having a hard time explaining this to family/friends. Thanks for your time.
