I am 33 and had been on the pill for 17 of those years. Last year in August I quit taking the pill because I wanted to start a family. I haven't had a period since. In the last 8 years I have had my prolactin level monitored because my breasts produce milk. Although my levels were high, they were not high enough to be concerned. When I saw my OBGYN in January she said that I wasn't ovulating because of my elevated prolactin level and they could give me parlodel to get pregnant. Well six weeks ago I started to have digestive problems and have had numerous tests (Upper GIs, endoscopy, abdominal ultrasound, blood tests, urinalysis, etc) All came back normal except I showed that I had an underactive thyroid and they put me on levoxyl and took me off the Elavil I was taking for my fibromyalgia, because they said it effected my pitutary and thyroid gland. I noticed in the last week that I have had more right side pain under my breast bone, the side and my back. I have also had a tender tummy to the right of my belly button. We are going to conduct a hida scan to see if my gall bladder is functioning. I guess I am concerned that all this indigestion and pain is cancer. I haven't had any urine or bowel problems.
