HI! I have several (more than 3) lymph nodes that have gradually increased in size, all over an inch long & in width. They do NOT move and aren't sore. I went to my OB/GYN and they put me on LEVOQUIN 500mg for 10 days and also ordered a CBC. The blood came back normal--and I go back on the 28th to re-check. She said if there is no change in the nodes she would refer me on to a surgeon for biopsy. I have had night sweats, on & off, I figured it was due to my comforter. And in the fall I had SEVERE itching on my legs only, so bad I would scratch until I bled! Went to my dermatologist and he gave me a cream--I still get itchy occassionally. I've had a cough for what seems like forever but always figured it was "allergies". I've combed the internet endlessly for info. I'm so worried and anxious it's consuming. IF ANY ONE has ANY insight I would greatly appreciate a reply. To think I have to wait for over a week is killing me! I've had 5 days on the antibiotic and they've not gotten smaller if anything they've gotten bigger! PLEASE HELP!!

I see you posted quite awhile back. You need to get a biopsy of the lump (s) and to get a second opinion on the pathology to diagnose or rule out lymphoma. It is difficult not to worry but lymphoma is not one of the worst cancers. Best of luck.

Hi Snobunny
I did have an excisional biopsy done this past Monday and am now home recuperating--still awaiting pathology report. If the report comes back benign for cancer would you get a second opinion?? The node the dr removed was 3" long & about the width of a finger...she thought it "looked" benign enough. If you've had experience with any of this I would appreciate your insight. Thanks!

My husband is the one with the lymphoma and we didn't have any issues with the diagnosis but I have heard from many people who have had difficulty with the diagnosis and recommend the second opinion and with a large hospital.

Hello Mhale9672. I don't know if you are still signed on to this website;however, I just read the description of your symptoms and I have the exact same symptoms right now. Only I have one swollen lymph node and it hurts. I was wondering if you ever received a diagnosis as to what was causing the swelling, itching and night sweats? I've just seen the doctor and am at the beginning of all this.

Thanks for any information you might be able to provide me.
