Hi, I was speaking to a friend about my sons problem and she suggested that he could be suffering from migraine. Rather than getting it in his head he is having severe tummy ache instead. I suppose this would seem to fit with his symptoms of having no diarrhea or tummy pain during the day. Does anyone know anything about this and where I can get more information and whether this seems likely? Thanks

Wounder....what exactly are your sons symptoms? My daughter has and is still having problems with her stomache...she gets severe abdominal pain accompanied by vomitting. At one point the doctor told us that she was having abdominal migraines. I had never heard of that. I have heard of migraines...headaches, but not in your stomach. She is going to see a gastroenterologist* to be tested for Crohn's Disease. IP: Logged |

Hi, My son has been having stomach aches and some vomiting and a friend suggested that it could be stomach migraine. I wanted to find out more information about stomach migraine.

The term abdominal migraine is usually used to refer to a condition called Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome (CVS). Here is a website that explains more about it. IP: Logged |
