Does anyone have any tips on how to get baby bottles that are cleaned in a dishwasher really clean? My son's bottles get pretty gross because he gets medicine in every feed. I was just wondering if there was something magical (some evryday household item) that you could add to the dishwasher to get the bottles really clean. Heather IP: Logged |

Try adding a little bleach to your dishwater and use a baby bottle scrubber. I always add a little bleach everytime i wash dishes in the sink, got this from my grandmother. Make sure to rinse well with hot water. Hope this helps. IP: Logged |

Hope you're not using plastic baby bottles. Plastics can react with acidic foods/juices, high heat, chlorine and possibly even your baby's meds. If you're using glass baby bottles, suggest you look up your baby's med. Knowing the chemical composition of the med can sometimes help you figure out what cleansing method might work best. Or call, email or visit the drug manufacturer. Since labs are always washing test tubes, I imagine they would have some suggestions.
