I just want to get it done already and move on. I want to make sure I go to the most skilled nose doctor out ther. Any information on Dr. Nicholas Tabbal from NY. Petra, Well my surgery is in a week and I am sooo nervous, but I wanted to let you know so far my experience with Pastorek has been geat he is very down to earth for someone top in his field which is refreshing and his staff has been very helpful. I rcv'd all my paper work and consent forms this week and they have been more than helpful when I call with questions they don't seem to get annoyed with my questions. They said Dr. Pastorek will call me the night before my surgery to talk review what is going to take place. He is board certified and specializes in facial plastic surgery, he also sent me a very informative packet about what to expect and before and after surgery. I will keep you posted. IP: Logged
AK47 Member Posts: 26 From:USA Registered: May 2003	posted 08-05-2003 04:29 PM I had a primary with Dr.Tabbal.Anyone I've ever spoken with who went to him was happy with their results.He and Dr.Pastorek are rated the two best rhinoplasty surgeons in New York City.I'd meet with both and choose the one I feel the most comfortable with. I had my nose done on the 6th w/ Dr. Pastorek everything went well he and his staff were a pleasure to work with they made the whole situation very comfotable, he called me the night before the surgery to go thru details and calm my nerves and he called me the night of the surgery and the day after to see how I was doing. My cast comes off tomorrow I am very excited about that, I can't see the results b/c of the cast but I can tell I no longer have a bumb that was my main concern I am happy I finally went thru with it, it only took 10 years. I don't think a consultation could hurt you, you do not have to make any committments. Dr. Pastorek has also written many article with Dr. Becker so they obviously respect each others work maybe you should consult with both. But I am happy I did it. Dr. Pastorek doesn't make drastic changes which is what I liked about him so it depends what you are looking for. Hope this helps IP: Logged

Anyway, I just had a Consultation with Dr. Pastorek today, and I must say I was very impressed with him. I looked at some of his work and I was amazed that he works with the nose you have. Therefore, everyone looking different. He doesn't do drastic change and I like that. I have an appointment with Dr. Tabbal on Sept 15th. but, I really like Dr. Pasotrek. so, I feel like i want to make my decision now. What do you think I should do? did you consult with Dr Tabbal.. how can you compare the two? Also, when I was leaving the office. a young girl was waiting to go in, she had her nose done a month ago. She flew to NYC from Israel JUST to have Dr. Pastorek do her nose. BTW. her nose looked Great! I'm so happy your nose came out good so far I'm sure you'll love the results? The nose looks excellent and Dr. Becker has been wonderful to work with. FYI - His office will move from Philly to Sewall, NJ in October. If you go with Becker, you'll be in great hands. IP: Logged

I am just learning about rhinoplasty but I hear Dr raj kanodia is supposed to be excellent. I live over in Los Angeles and he has an office in beverly hills. Anyone heard of any experiences with him?
