hi, my mom used to have thick black beautiful hair, but since she got diabetes about 8 years ago, she has lost alot of hair. i wont really call it severe hair loss but still its quite bad. IP: Logged |

Two years ago I was diagnosed with TypeII diabetes and shortly thereafter my hair became thinner. Also I have had naturally curly hair all my life but have lost almost all the curl. I have talked to many people who have lost some hair after becoming diabetic. IP: Logged |

My hair was always thin, but now it way worse. It is like a newborn baby's texture. I went to a dermatologist and had a biopsy done, it showed nothing. I know it's the diabetes. My hair is so fragile it can barely be combed without falling out. IP: Logged |
