Hi. I've been thinking about maybe buying an exercise bike. This way, I can exercise indoor during the winter months and any other time that I want to. I was wondering if anyone could recommoned any good exercise bike that would work towards weight loss. I would like to get one that works good, does not take up too much space, and is not expensive. Also, can anyone recommend any good stores where I can buy exercise bikes? Thanks. IP: Logged |

Your best bet would be to find a used one someone is trying to sell. I have a Lifecycle, which I think is very good, but expensive. You can probably find one that has hardly been used for less than half the original price. IP: Logged |

Does anyone own a Schwinn Airdyne? If so, how long have you had it and how often do you use it? I'm thinking of buying a used one, but I don't know if I want to get one that is 10 years old and pay for less or get a more recent one and pay more. Are these type of bikes very durable, to the point that even if they are about 10 years old, they work just as well as a newer one? Thanks. IP: Logged |

Hi, I bought a bike a couple of weeks ago and I just love having it. I went straight to the source for inexpensive bikes--the most common discount store. They don't have a lot of selction, but you should be able to find a very decent bike for under 100 dollars. I wouldn't try any speciality stores. Try the common stores. They also sell this kind of stuff on their web sites. It will at least give you an idea on fhwere to go, if you don't want to pay shipping. IP: Logged |

you could try one of those cars the Flintstones drive. That looks like it would be pretty good excersise. IP: Logged |
