I have a flat butt. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get a firmer, rounder butt. Is jogging the best way. What are the best butt exercises? IP: Logged |

Squats, squats and squats. Jogging will do zip for your butt. IP: Logged |

I also want to mention that the shape of your butt is gentically determined and is influenced by the shape of your muscle as well as your body's fat distribution. Squats will definitely improve your rear by making it firmer but it will not drastically change its shape from a "flat" type to a round type. We all work within nature's framework. IP: Logged |

Squats rock, no question, but don't discount hip extentions, kick backs and deadlifts. (I LOVE weighted hip extentions). ------------------ IP: Logged |

Squats, squats, squats. Lunges are good, too. But squats are the king. Do all kinds. I used to have a flat-ish butt (not big, but flat), but now it's nice and round. A saw results after about 3 months, BUT I always did squats and lunges at least 1x/week. I also squat as heavy as I can. In fact today, I squatted my bodyweight...115 lbs. My goal is to squat 140 lbs. IP: Logged |

Does this mean that you should not do squats if you have a large butt? IP: Logged |

You should do squats only IF you want a good looking butt. IP: Logged |

I know I am replying kinda late for this, but how many squats do you need to do per workout? Also, do you have to hold weights while doing squats? Anyone? Thanks in advance!! IP: Logged |
