For about a year or so now, I've noticed that my legs get really achy after I do ANYTHING with them. At first I thought it was just because my leg muscles were weak because I used to sit on my ass all the time, but now that I run/play sports atleast 3 times a week, they still are sore and achy all the time. Does anyone else have this problem? or know what I can do to help releave it... Possibly anti-inflamatories or something? thx for your time.

When you say you get it all the time, do you notice it more when you're playing sport etc, or when just standing on them? I've noticed that I have real trouble just standing for long periods of time - so much so that it's hard to go to social gatherings where I know I'm going to be standing for most of the night. Whereas, when I'm playing sport or keeping my legs moving in some way, I don't really notice a problem at all. Is that similar to you?

I'd be very interested to hear of any suggestions in how to overcome this problem also. My legs are quite strong, and I have been doing leg-specific weights for a whilst now, so I don't think the problem would be muscular..?

Hope someone can come up with something that may help us!

Yea now that I think about it, it is when im standing on them for along time. I noticed it happening at work when I was standing on them, but in gym class I stand for a good 1 1/2 hours everyday. They aren't achy when im playing the sports though, just seems like it afterwards... but im wondering if it's just because im standing on them for so long.

I'm the same way but I wonder since it happens more when standing if it has something to do with the back. I know you feel it in your legs but it could have something to do with the back and is felt in the legs. Do either of you have any issues with your back? Anyway here's 3 people that have the problem so I'd venture to guess it's not uncommon. Next time I visit my chiropractor I'll ask him about it.

Yeah I have the same problem. My calf muscles are always sore and always make me feel tired (even after I sleep alot).
I don`t do alot of excerise but have noticed my calf muscles to be quite well developed. I will go to the hospital next week and get them checked out.

It could be to do with circulation, rather than a muscular problem. See what your doctor says, always best to check......
