my son age 9. has a white bump on his EYE. it is followed by the red streaks like blood shot eyes. the eye doctor said its "blahblahblah" (said it so fast and then acted like I knew what it was he was talking about) then he said he only sees it in old people say 65 and older. any ideas to a name ...he didnt say it was treatable. or cause for concern. i will call him later for the spelling but until then i have you guys to ask which i have read alot of post and you sound like you know what you are talking about IP: Logged |

Did what the doctor say sound like "pingueculum" or "pinguecula"? This might be what your son has. Maybe you could do a search on the internet to get more information. Good luck! IP: Logged |

well i looked that up and sure enough it does look exactly like what he has...thanks so much now i have to call another docter ofhis to see if he nneds it to be treated. thanks alot IP: Logged |
