Hi, I'm 18, a full time college student and I work part time. I have been with my boyfriend for about 2 1/2 years, and we have been sexually active for quite a while, not trying to get pregnant or anything. The thing is, is that we have had sex quite a few times on the day I'm supposed to ovulate, without protection. This is just due to carelessness but now I'm worried that I can't get pregnant. Is this just coincidence or something I should have checked out?
thanks!! moxie

Moxie ... you should buy the book Taking charge of your fertility. I wish I had been more in tune with my body at your age.It explains a lot about your body.
However, I was scared to death of being pregnant at that age even though my boyfriend and I had been together all of H.S. and early college. Taking chances on becoming pregnant is not a good way to test whether or not you are ovulating. Stay on the right track with finishing school and enjoy your life! The responsibility of a baby is not what any 18 year old needs. Definitely get to know your body though ... very smart girl to want to know but not for the sake of risking having a baby. You should see a doctor and share your questions. There are many ways to know if you are ovulating and still use protection. Goodluck
Be safe.
