I have been having a weird feeling in my right lower back. I feel as thoough something is swollen inside. It is only a slight pressure , no shooting pains but it makes nervous. I have been on th eAtkins diet for about one week and wonder if this could be affecting my kidneys but after only a week I fear I am jumping the gun. Regardless, this is uncomfortable and I am wondering if anyone else has any experience with this. I am a 28 year old woman in about 160 lbs and I drink socially. I about a gallon of water a day so I know I am not dehydrated. Any help is appreciated - IP: Logged |

I would go to a Dr. and get checked. I know high protein diets are a factor in kidney problems. I could be stones also. IP: Logged |
