I am on blood thinners. I am needing to know what foods and herbs I should reframe from that would thin my blood? Thank you. P.S. Even any sites I might check out on this subject.

There isn't any food you should refrain from as you couldn't eat enough of anything to worry about thinning your blood more. I'd check with your doctor or pharmacist before taking any herb to see if it would have a harmful effect. It's as simple as just calling the pharmacist on the phone.

Hi Winddove, just off the top of my head, definitely avoid any preparations containing Licorice Root, and another that I can't remember correctly, but the name sounds very similar to a common blood thinning med, courmarin, or cucourmarin, something like that. Anyway this herb is a source of the med, so needs to be avoided. Sorry, having an 'airy' day. I can't list a specific website, but one of my favorites I'll give hints for. It's a '.com' and its main info is, yep, you guessed it, herbs.

Hope this helps
