Hi I am A 31 yr. old mom of 2, a few weeks ago I was in the car and my face felt really hot, the heat was not on(thats what I thought it was, blowing on my face),i looked in the mirror and It looked flushed. It only lasted a few minutes, Is that a hot flash? When does this ususally happen? IP: Logged |

Could be a hot flush! The age for perimenopause and menopause can vary hugely. At 53 I'm still waiting for the real thing but I have friends in their early 40s who have finished with it. Early 30s is very unusual, to be sure, but not impossible. Wait and see if it happens again! I found that night sweats started before day time ones but that might just have been coincidence. As Action stated - the age varies greatly. My Mom began going through menopause at age 38 and was completely throught it by 41. I began having night sweats, at age 47, then hot flashes during the day. Every woman is different and has different symptoms. IP: Logged |
