I need to hear from fellow menopausals. I have been having wierd symptoms, I am 48, occasional hot flashes, chills, missed periods, weird taste in mouth, head aches for about a year. I have been divorced for 10 years and celebate during that time. Now I met an older guy and i enjoy our love making, but rarely have an orgasm. Masterbating does bring on orgasms but they are weaker than I used to have when I was young, and i am quite dissapointed with them. I vaguely (smile) remember earth shaking orgasms and now they are like a low rumble. I am wondering if this is phyological, just my age, whether it is temporary. I have tried just to relax and not worry about it, havent mentioned it to him cause I dont want him to think its his fault. I think its me. should I just accept that I have missed the best years of my sexual life? Does this happen to everyone? Any hope or suggestions or just consolation? IP: Logged |

No you haven't missed the best years of your life - you are just tense because it is a new relationship. I don't have the frequency of desire I used to but Give yourself some time, I used to worry a lot about Get some Ky or something called Silke (my favorite) I did go on HRT in 2000 and that might have helped By the way, I was 49 yesterday. If the KY doesn't do it for you, then try Olive Oil. Better yet, check out a couple of porno films. ![]() It could be him. Don't be shy about talking to him. Make sure he is stimulating that clit gurl! [This message has been edited by Mz Migraine (edited 08-25-2003).] IP: Logged |

Womens Testosterone levels sometimes have alot to do with with sexual desires. You maybe a little low in your levels of testosterone. Check with a good health food store and see if they can suggest a natural testosterone suppliment. It also helps your memory and concentration. Even a low dose of it may make a big difference for you. I know it did for me. Good luck! Don't throw in the towel just yet! Jeane IP: Logged |
