I woke up yesterday and i felt a lump on the left side of my scrotum near the very bottom of the shaft of my penis. It's about pea sized i guess and i can feel somekind of substance inside because the skin is so thin over there. I terrified myself lastnight thinking it may be herpes or some kind of std but I don't know. I have acne prone skin and i am thinking it may be a pimple. Then i thought it may be an ingrown hair but i haven't shaved in that area in about 2 months. Should i pop this thing or maybe wait a few days to see if it looks like it becomes more popable? Please god don't let me have to see a doctor because I have no health insurance and no money.

oh yeah and it doesn't itch or hurt. I probably wouldn't have known it was there unless by feeling it.

Probably a pimple or ingrown pube, totally common. I've had them before and they hurt like heck. Although best to leave them alone and let nature take care of it...I couldn't do that. If you decide to pop it, make sure and keep the area clean to prevent infections.

Well it's a little over 2 weeks later and it's still there, pretty much unchanged except that it *may* be a little smaller. I've tried popping it but it just seems unpoppable, its not really raised that much so its hard to get at and it looks flesh colored unless i stretch the skin out tight and i think u can see some kind of substance in there. But then today i tried to pop it using a pin and i guess i made a tiny tiny hole because then i squeezed it but only a little blood came out and nothing else i dont think. It doesn't hurt, itch or anything even when i try to squeeze it. Could it be a cyst or something?

Lance how long did your pimple last because i'm starting to worry that its not going away quick enough.

My pimple certainly didn't last two weeks. The fact that it didn't pop or produce any puss when you used a pin to try to open it leads me to believe that this may be something else. Sounds like you're going to have to decide if a doc visit is in order. I'd want to make sure that it isn't anything serious, but that's just me. Good luck and let us know if you find out anything.
