Hydroxycut and water intake!

I started taking Hydroxycut about a month and a half ago and saw little or no progress. I came up with the idea that I was looking more bloated due to a lack of water intake,(when you don't give your body water it retains it) So, I started drinking tons of water; around 2 or 3 gallons a day and have started to see some better results. Is drinking this much water with Hydroxycut good or am I just counteracting the effects. If so how much water should I drink with this supplement. Also give me some tips on how to achieve the most from this product. Please respond I have looked everywhere else and have found no answers. I'm desperate!
