If it hurts so much, consult a physician. If you use anti-inflammatory drugs to relieve the pain, you might be accumulating scare tissue which might need to be remove with surgery...

: : : I run about 2 miles a day on the treadmill and 20/stairclimber and everyday my shins are killing me! Sometimes it hurts so bad I limp! I heard shin splints are permanent and there's nothing you can do about them. Is this true? If anyone had any suggestions on stretches or exercise I can do to improve this pain?? PLEASE HELP!!

: : ::I would try a combination of products called OPC-3 and Glucosatrin. This is what is working for mine.
