: Does anyone remember what color the strips are supposed to be? I am at moderate ketosis, Is this good?
: I've been on the diet for 6 days now.
The strips are tan colored to start with and remain that way if you are not in ketosis. Any change in color towards purple indicates ketones which means you are in ketosis and hence burning fat. The darker the purple doesn't necessarily mean more or faster fat loss. What it usually means is that you haven't drank enough water and the ketones are concentrated in your urine. Any shade of purple is good. If it is really dark drink more water and keep doing every else the same. Alan S.
