Ashley, I took Meridia for a few months. I stayed on the Atkins diet while taking it. I did loose about 30 pds. But when I went off Atkins, I still had the same craving for carbs. Don't know how much the Meridia or Atkins had to do with my weight loss. You have to stay on some kind of a diet while taking it and It does help you to eat less but after a month I found my same old appetite coming back. Stayed on them another month or so and found they were not helping me when I was eating a normal diet so I discontinued taking them.
